Healthy Smoothie Recipes


2014 is coming to an end but it’s the beginning of my new diet. I want to be fit and healthy…Sooo I found a personal trainer and changed my eating habits.

And speaking of eating habits, I added a healthy smoothie to my diet to replace a greasy meal.  Below are healthy yet tasty smoothie recipes, please comment below and tell me know what you think.  

Raspberry-Avocado Smoothie 


1 avocado, peeled and pitted

3/4 cup orange juice

3/4 cup raspberry juice

1/2 cup frozen raspberries, (not thawed)  

Banana Spice Smoothie


2 ripe bananas

2 cups vanilla kefir (see Tip)

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/8 teaspoon ground allspice

12 ice cubes

Clean Breeze Smoothie 


1 small cucumber, chopped

2 ripe kiwis, peeled

1 cup ginger-flavored kombucha (see Tip)

1/2 cup low-fat plain Greek yogurt

2 tablespoons fresh cilantro leaves

6 ice cubes  


Tofu Tropic Smoothie 


2 cups diced frozen mango

1 1/2 cups pineapple juice

3/4 cup silken tofu

1/4 cup lime juice

1 teaspoon freshly grated lime zest 

Green Tea, Blueberry, and Banana 


3 Tbsp water

1 green tea bag

2 tsp honey

1½ c frozen blueberries

½ med banana

¾ c calcium fortified light vanilla soy milk 

Very Berry Breakfast 


1 c frozen unsweetened raspberries

¾ c chilled unsweetened almond or rice milk

¼ c frozen pitted unsweetened cherries or raspberries

1½ Tbsp honey

2 tsp finely grated fresh ginger

1 tsp ground flaxseed

2 tsp fresh lemon juice
